Adhesives have special functions and are widely used in
metal pipe joints. There are more than 10,000 kinds of adhesives suitable for different purposes in the world. When choosing an adhesive, it is necessary to judge according to the following 4 techniques.
(1) medium resistanceThe adhesive force in different properties of gas or annotated medium is quite different, and even the materials that are in contact with the working process are mainly air, water, oil and acid. When using an adhesive, choose an adhesive that is resistant to the medium in which it will be used.
(2) Bonding strengthBonding strength is divided into tensile strength, shear strength, torsional shear strength and peel strength. When choosing an adhesive, the appropriate strength adhesive should be selected according to the position and force of the mechanical parts.
(3) Temperature resistanceRefers to the temperature range that the fully cured adhesive layer can withstand, such as a certain temperature resistance -60ºC—120ºC, that is, the adhesive can be applied in the range of -60ºC to 120ºC, beyond this limit, the adhesive force will drop significantly.
(4) Curing timeThe curing time refers to the time required for the adhesive to transform into a solid glue house from the glue at room temperature during bonding. Initial solidification refers to the time required for the adhesive layer to withstand the bonding parts without falling off due to its own weight; full solidification refers to the time required for the adhesive layer to be completely cured and achieve the highest adhesive strength and medium resistance performance. If the nylon tie needs to shorten the curing time of the slow-drying glue, it can be heated by means of thermal blowing, oven baking, etc., but the heating temperature and time should be determined according to different glue types.
