The 3153 Series are all-brass hex socket fittings with an ANSI B16.5 Flanged Connector face. As an integral part of the 3153 Series, this unique design provides a solid visual indicator that the connector is properly aligned with the valve port. The male side of this coupling features a hex head and has 6 flats along its length. The female side has a 3⁄8" NPT pipe thread at each end.This product is for use with SAE J530 or SAE J531 tubing. The hex socket sleeve is made from seamless drawn brass and can be used on PEX-AL-PEX tubing and reinforcement bar radiused edges. Socket sleeves are an economical way to attach fittings to the tube. We recommend using these sleeves with plastic cap style fitting end attachments
