The difference between the inch transition joint and the metric transition joint and the difference in the use of the two

2. From the point of view of the diameter of the joint
The diameter of the screw head of the inch transition joint is 9.3MM, which is smaller than the 9.7 mm of the metric screw head.





3. From the appearance
For example, from the F type two, it can be found that the inch transition joint has a relatively small step, while the metric transition joint is flat. Moreover, the shape of the outer opening of the nut for the British transition is cylindrical, while the outer opening of the metric nut is a regular hexagon.


4. From the perspective of applicable standards
The metric system is obviously the domestic standard, while the imperial system is the international standard.


5. From the perspective of thread
Metric transition joints are internal threads, and inch transition joints are external threads.


6. From the point of view of the place of production
Most of the metric transition joints are domestically produced, and most of the imported transition joints are also British transition joints.
