Our 1484 Brass Inserts are a solid brass body that meets the functional requirements for SAE J246 & SAE J1131, with a pre-applied thread sealant. They can be used in a variety of markets, including heavy duty trucks and trailers, as well as mobile applications.

Our Brass Insert fittings are designed for high pressure, high temperature applications. The brass tubing is pre-applied with thread sealant and meets D.O.T. FMVSS571.106 performance requirements. Can be used on air tank suspension, air brake systems and more.

Brass body construction with a 1/4” tube O.D. Slips over brake line and features an internal lip to help prevent air from escaping from an open end. Suitable for use on cars, light trucks and trailers.
