This all brass female flare adapter has an inverted flare for use with standard male flared fittings. It provides a reliable seal to prevent leakage and is SAE J512 approved. The steel nut is recommended for economy applications, where a permanently installed flare fitting must still be removed or reinstalled in a short period of time.
